Card Pay lets you pay with a credit or debit card. You do not need a crypto wallet or any cryptocurrency knowledge. Card checkout is handled by Stripe, which turns your card payment into cryptocurrency and sends it directly to PQRS, then your order confirms automatically.
- Works best with US-issued cardsCards from other countries, and some from US territories, may not be accepted. If your card is declined, please choose another payment method at checkout.
- Apple Pay and Google PayThese may also be offered where your device and the payment provider support them, for example Apple Pay in Safari on an Apple device that has it set up, or Google Pay in Chrome or on Android with a card saved. They are not guaranteed, so plan on paying with a card.
- One-time ID checkFirst-time payments may require an ID check or face scan. Financial regulations require it, the payment provider carries it out, and PQRS never sees or stores your ID information.
How it works, step by step
-
Add your items and go to checkout
Fill in your billing and shipping details as usual. Nothing about this step changes based on how you pay.
-
Choose Card Pay
Under Select a Payment Method, choose Card Pay and read the short note beneath it. Then place your order. You will be taken to Stripe’s secure payment page.
-
Sign in or create a quick account
Stripe may ask you to sign in or create a quick account before it shows your payment. This is normal, and it is the first of two screens that look unusual, so here is what to expect.
-
Confirm your wallet
Next you will see a step called Confirm your wallet with a wallet address on it. Stripe requires this step, and PQRS cannot skip or hide it.
That address belongs to your order, and it is locked. You cannot change or mistype it, and you do not need a crypto wallet of your own. Just confirm it and continue to the card step. Every order gets its own address and payment link, so never reuse an address or link from an earlier order or an old email. -
Review the quote and pay
Stripe shows what you pay, what PQRS receives, and any provider fees before you confirm anything. Then enter your card details, or choose Apple Pay or Google Pay if they are shown. If this is your first payment, the provider may ask you to verify your identity with an ID or face scan.
-
That is it
Once the payment completes, your PQRS order confirms automatically. There is no transaction ID to copy and nothing to send us.
Closed the page, or ran out of time? The checkout timer runs for 4 hours, but your payment link can still be paid for up to 7 days, and you do not need to place a new order. Sign in, open My Account, then Orders, and select Pay next to your order while it shows Pending payment. If you are stuck, contact us and we will help.
If something does not go as planned
I got stuck at the sign-in or Confirm your wallet screen
Those two screens are where most people pause, because they look unusual for a card payment. Sign in or create the quick account, confirm the wallet address shown (it is locked and belongs to your order), and continue to the card step. No crypto wallet is needed. If it still will not work, choose another payment method or contact us.
The payment did not go through
If the card step does not complete, your card is not charged. You can try again from My Account, then Orders, with the Pay button, or choose another payment method at checkout.
I was charged, but my order is not confirmed
Keep the receipt you were sent and contact us with your order number. We will check it against our records and the payment provider’s.
My card was declined
Card payments work best with US-issued cards, and card providers do not tell us why a card was declined. Choose another payment method at checkout. Crypto Pay is for customers who already hold supported cryptocurrency, and Digital Wallet Pay lets you use Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, or Krak.
I cannot complete the ID check
Identity checks are run by the payment provider, and PQRS cannot override them. If you would rather not complete one, choose another payment method at checkout.
Do I need to own any cryptocurrency?
No. The payment provider buys the cryptocurrency for your order and sends it to PQRS. You only pay with your card.
Are there extra fees?
Provider fees may apply and can vary by order and payment method. Stripe shows the complete total before you confirm, so there is nothing to calculate yourself.
